Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Millowi, an independently operated online community service based in Romania. By accessing or using Millowi, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you use Millowi on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.

Accounts

Provide accurate information, maintain your account identity in good faith, keep your credentials confidential, and notify security@millowi.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. We may require email verification and limit features when reasonably necessary for safety or security.

Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Millowi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except to the extent the content has been shared by others, must be retained for legal or safety reasons, or remains temporarily in backups.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and grant this license. Do not upload material that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights. Copyright notices may be sent to copyright@millowi.com.

User conduct

You may not use Millowi to break the law; threaten, exploit, or harass others; promote hatred or violence; impersonate people or organizations deceptively; distribute scams, malware, or stolen credentials; expose private information; sexually exploit minors; manipulate engagement; evade restrictions; scrape or automate access without permission; interfere with the service; or infringe intellectual-property rights. The Community Guidelines provide additional examples and standards.

Illegal content and reports

Report content through the available in-product reporting tools or email abuse@millowi.com. A notice should identify the content, explain why it is allegedly illegal or violates our rules, include its exact location or URL, and provide accurate contact information where appropriate. We may request additional information and may send the affected user a statement of reasons when content or access is restricted.

Moderation and enforcement

We may review reports and take proportionate action, including reducing visibility, removing content, locking discussions, restricting features, pausing campaigns, or suspending or terminating accounts. Decisions may consider context, severity, frequency, risk, and legal obligations. Community moderators may enforce community-specific rules but must also follow Millowi-wide rules.

If you believe an enforcement decision was incorrect, send an appeal to legal@millowi.com with your username, the affected content or decision, and the reason for your appeal. We may maintain restrictions while an appeal is reviewed where necessary to prevent harm.

Messages and user interactions

Respect blocks and other users' boundaries. Private messages are intended for their participants but may be reported and reviewed for safety, support, legal compliance, or service integrity as described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-party services and links

Millowi may contain links to or embeds from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your dealings with third parties are between you and them.

Paid products and advertising

Millowi does not currently offer public paid subscriptions or self-service advertising. If paid products are introduced, the applicable price, renewal, cancellation, refund, tax, campaign-review, and payment-provider terms will be shown before purchase and may be governed by additional terms. We will not charge you without an affirmative purchase action.

Account deactivation and deletion

You may deactivate or permanently delete your account through settings. We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations, security risk, legal requirements, or prolonged inactivity where permitted by law. Certain records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service availability and changes

Millowi is an evolving service. Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, but this does not exclude any service standard or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may perform maintenance and take emergency action to protect users or infrastructure.

Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Millowi is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, loss caused by user content or third-party services, or loss caused by events reasonably outside our control.

Business users

If you use Millowi primarily for business purposes, you are responsible for ensuring that your content, campaigns, and conduct comply with applicable advertising, consumer, tax, and industry rules. To the extent permitted by law, you will compensate Millowi for third-party claims arising from your unlawful business content or your material breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or by email when practicable. Urgent changes may take effect sooner when required by law or necessary to address an immediate risk. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, you may stop using Millowi and delete your account.

Romanian law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim before any court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact legal@millowi.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
