Devlog: Analytics, faster feeds, improved posting, and stronger moderation
We’ve recently shipped a new round of Millowi improvements focused on performance, creator insights, posting, community management, and responsive design.
Creator analytics
- Creators now have a dedicated analytics dashboard for tracking profile and post views, engagement, performance trends, and top-performing posts. This provides a clearer picture of how content reaches and engages the community.
A faster, smoother home feed
- The home feed now loads posts in batches of 20, with additional posts loading automatically as you scroll. This improves initial loading speed and avoids fetching the entire feed at once.
A better posting experience
- Posting now uses one consistent flow across desktop, tablets, and phones. The new Post button is always easy to find in the header and opens the complete post composer.
The Create Post page follows a more natural order:
- Title
- Text
- Images
- Optional community selection
We also removed the old single-line quick composer, preventing posts from being published with duplicated title and text.
Markdown formatting
- Post text now supports Markdown formatting, including bold, italic, strikethrough, headings, lists, quotes, links, and code. The post composer also includes formatting controls and a preview mode, making it easier to format content before publishing.
Community-focused moderation
- Moderation tools are now connected directly to the communities you own or moderate. Eligible users can access moderation from the Communities page or from inside the relevant community.
Each moderation queue is scoped to its community, with access protections preventing moderators from viewing or managing communities outside their responsibility.
Account Status
- Personal moderation notices and appeals have moved from the profile menu into a dedicated Account Status section under Settings. This keeps private account matters separate from community moderation responsibilities.
More community controls
- Community moderators can now manage community rules and pin important posts so they remain visible at the top of the community feed.
Responsive interface improvements
We’ve continued refining Millowi across desktop, tablet, and mobile:
Cleaner and more consistent header actions
A less cluttered mobile navigation
Messages moved into the profile menu on smaller screens
Improved spacing and alignment
A feed-first tablet layout
Better responsive behavior throughout the website
More improvements are on the way.
Thank you for using Millowi! 💜
